The second Cyclone tournament are nearing its end as only six teams remain and Nihilum once again lost the winner bracket final to an "euro comp".
So far ten teams have been knocked out of the tournament as the loser bracket semi-finals are about to be played. The trihealer teams have been facing eachother in the upper half of the loser bracket, as Ocean Madness takes on Korea Starcraft Players in a mirror match.
As expected Disco Raving Mummies with their two melee dps lost to the warrior/hunter triheal Ocean Madness in the loser bracket quarter-final. The second match was a mirror setup between the 2346 teams Shake N Baked and Kammen Goes to Hollywood, where the first-mentioned came out on top with a 3-1 score.
DRM vs Ocean Madness ― 0-3
Shake N Baked vs Kammen GTH ― 3-1

The most exciting match of the day was of course the winner bracket final, where Nihilum once again fell short against an "euro comp". Despite their setup change from last tournament where they swapped their warlock (Dreadlol) for an elemental shaman (Slot). A 3-2 score in favour for the Swedish "WE RLY CARE".
WE RLY CARE vs Nihilum ― 3-2
- "The matches vs nihlium were really close, the series could have easily gone the other way. I feel both teams played well, we targetted their shaman while they swapped around quite alot to utilize their setups burst damage." WRC's mage Vexed told Nihilum's website.
- "They put most pressure on me and really forced me to play defensively while their shaman and healers tried to move away. Most of the games lasted quite long, but the last one was really short with zerg on me and their shaman."
This means that WRC is ready for the grand final, though their opponent won't be decided untill March 2nd when the consolation final will be played. The remaining matches now looks like this:
February 24th
KSP vs Ocean Madness
ID Gaming vs Shake N Baked
February 28th - Loser Bracket Final
March 2nd - Consolation Final (Nihilum vs LB Winner)
March 6th - Grand Final (WE RLY CARE vs Consolation Final Winner)
Cyclone Tour #2 Brackets (LB layout is being worked on)
Update: A video from the first wb match between WRC and Nihilum, POV of Neala (Priest) can be downloaded here.

It's quite interresting that the tri healer teams have made it this far and all the matches left are likely to be very close which should provide good entertainment :)

#2 Teams may only play with one class combination (setup) and each player may have an alternative player (stand-in) of the same class on the roster.
#3 Teams can't change their roster after the brackets have been published.
#4 Players have to play the specs they have in the roster. For example a team reported that their priest is going to play 42/19/0 then the priest must play with the spec(you can change some talents, but the numbers need to be the same 42/19/0) The specs will be locked before the brackets are published.
Despite their setup change from last >> tournament
