Hanf is mTw's second loss after one of their key players; Juha-Matti "Satiini" Bäckström claimed absent a few days ahead their debut in the NGL One Finals. The latter of the two, Satiini suffers long time mental illness which has kept him away from any offline event and he is yet to make his first appearance on the real stage.

These strikes leave mTw only Lars Gerrit "Protois" Reichelt, Tae In "Rainbow" Kim, Jonathan "KiWiKaKi" Garneau and Yaraslau "NightWOlf" Kavetski taking part in this event. The quartet will have to face the full-fledged SK in their first match.
