With the idea to build a Canadian line up for the World Cyber Games (WCG) and Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC) events, which are just round the corner, time was running out for Team Evil Geniuses (EG). Just as all these changes were happening Robert "blackpanther" Tyndale decided to go inactive.

The first addition to the team is Halston "Tekn1kal" Bellintani, previously playing in some very successful Canadian teams such as x6, eMg, DeadZone, up north, and 2d, he’s had experience in CAL-INVITE, CEVO-Professional and not to forget lots of LAN Experience along with top 10 results at CPL.

The next addition is Nicolas "chosen" Lalonde, with a name not as well known in the Counter-Strike scene, Nicolas has come from many CAL-Premier teams and most recently NoPression which has had a lot of attention recently, with great potential Nicolas looks to be a rising star among the Canadian scene.

Without ending the excitement, EG have also brought in United Kingdom's Aaron "RealF1re" Hennessy who will be working as full time Coach of the lineup. Hopefully Aaron can be a big part of the new EG lineup like he was before.
