Recently big international organisations such as MYM, Virtus.Pro, mouz or begrip.gaming, have added a DotA squad to their clan to compete in leagues, LAN's and tournaments. Most say the German scene is dead, as a lot of leading German teams of former times have disbanded like w8, DoA, WE, vae, dG or ieS. Yet there is a lot of new potential in Germany, as we can see in talented teams such as TRY, w4sp, jam or v3, and the newly added DotA Squad of n!Faculty.

Now another known German clan hoisted the flag of DotA: my most Famous, short mymF. They are picking up two squads of the former team "aKuna", where the players fought together for a long time and partly even know each other in real life now. As aKuna they participated in DotA-League, MYM PriDe and even the ESL, where they recently were able to take down n!.
