Alternate aTTaX loses the 'aTTaX'
The top German multigaming organisation Alternate aTTaX has dropped "aTTaX" from its name and will be called Team Alternate instead.

The top German multigaming organisation Alternate aTTaX has dropped "aTTaX" from its name and will be called Team Alternate instead.
The name change was dictated by the wish to give the Alternate name more exposure in the media. The team was commonly referred to as "aTTaX" by esports websites and fans, which the company deemed undesirable.
Alternate used to be the head sponsor of Mortal TeamWork until they decided it would be less expensive to found their own gaming team. Team Alternate is now the champion of the Counter-Strike ESL Pro Series and the EPS runner-up for Source. The team also has a strong, predominantly German Warcraft 3 team.
The problems Team Alternate were having are the same as those of PGSPokerStrategy.com, commonly referred to as PGS. Most professional Counter-Strike players even call the Polish team Pentagram.

I also think that, no difference what people are saying now, in a few months, people will accustom to ALTERNATE. See PGS for instance: Today, only a few people keep on calling them Pentagram.
