Arguably the second best Polish Counter-Strike team is now homeless and waiting for offers from other teams.
UNITED, one of the two Polish participants of the Extreme Masters II main round and a consistent top three finisher in domestic tournaments, will no longer have a CS team. According to the PGS Gaming website, the players felt that the support they got from their organisation was not adequate. UNITED's management has confirmed that the players will be released from their contracts by mutual agreement.
It looks like the CS team will remain a unit. They are now on the lookout for a new organisation to support them. Naturally, this will arouse speculation that they will want to become PGS Gaming's new CS team but it seems unlikely that a G7 team would pick them up.
