PGS Gaming, who have an autoberth to the ESWC but no Counter-Strike team, has received an offer from a Brian "hpx" Christensen's team to represent them.
Hpx is planning to leave his current team NoA / mTw to create a new one with Christian "Paddy" Juhl, Mike "spx" Lutzhoeft, Martin "zone" Mandix Eilertsen and Rasmus "vimo" Vibe. He offered the team's services to PGS Gaming because the Polish organisation was invited to defend the title that their former Counter-Strike team won at the Electronic Sports World Cup 2007.
SK Gaming has found out that so far PGS Gaming has not made any steps towards getting a new Counter-Strike team. This may change in the future as the PGS's declarations that they would no longer support CS were made before ESWC's invitation.

realy i dont know what to thing about it.
I see this as an attempt to get the autoberth.. not create a new team.. but it looks good on paper
???
"UNITED has confirmed the departure of the Counter-Strike squad.
The Polish team was one of the sides on show during the Extreme Masters II season, having finished in fifth place in a group that also featured the likes of SK Gaming or roccat.
According to team player Tomasz "ths" Sopel, this move was a necessary one for the squad to scale greater heights as the support coming from the UNITED management was not satisfying.
Nevertheless, the former UNITED squad is expected to join a new organisation in the near future as Sopel stressed that the line-up will stick together."
Is it only me that gets funny thought when you read that sentence?
BTW! UNITED is not an option! They lost against Unsterblich, which says a lot. Not ESWC material!
hpx&co. would have a great chance winning the ESWC finals. As there are not many teams on their very level in the world right now.

nice lineups :)
That must have takes some serious investigation from PGS Gaming.. I wonder who's their contact in PGS Gaming... :D
carmac for the record HPX already left mTW and Whimp joined mTw.
“Whimp” was the first boy wonder of Danish Counter-Strike. He won ESWC as early as 2004 at the ripe age of 15 with “The Titans.” In recent years his team’s performances have been lower key with Svendsen still receiving favorable reviews by observers. According to Cording NoA / mTw have had their eye on Svendsen for some time.
“We have been speaking to Jonas for some time about this”, he said before adding that the initial contact was an offer to join the team as the sixth man.
