Top notch North American Call of Duty 4 team the Doctors has merged with a well-known organisation called Evil Geniuses.
The former Call of Duty team of Team 3D decided to give away their previous main game Team Fortress 2, which they played among the best in CEVO's Professional division, to start playing Call of Duty 4 more seriously. The team has a history of stable line-ups and their achievement list is long, including first place at QuakeCon 2002 in RTCW tournament, 7th position at CPL Summer 2003 CS 1.6 competition and 2nd place at CPL Summer 2004 in CoD tournament. Their most recent accomplishment is from Xfire First Strike Call of Duty 4 tournament where they managed to grab the second spot.
The team is currently participating in CEVO's Professional division and will be making their first LAN appearance under their new flag at Nerv LAN in March 8-9 at Allentown, PA, USA followed by Multiplay i33 in March 21-24 at Newbury, United Kingdom.

"The Doctors are the ultimate multi-gamers. Their accomplishments in Call of Duty, Counter-Strike, Team Fortress, Painkiller, and Quake speak for themselves; this is truly a special, unique group of individuals. We knew from the beginning that if EG was going to venture into COD4, we wanted The Doctors. It's an honour to welcome this group," commented Alex Garfield, EG Executive Director.
Team leader Mark "wombat" Larsen said on their website: "We are thrilled that Alex and Team EG have given us this opportunity to represent their team on the Call of Duty front. Thanks to EG we now have the necessary support to attend future LAN events we were previously unable to afford. We look forward to having a long and successful stay with EG!"
