Yesterday Gravitas Gaming announced the release of their old Counter-Strike team after losing to aTTaX in the Extreme Masters Relegation. Today they announce their new team with old faces.
Yesterday the Danish Counter-Strike team of Gravitas Gaming was released shortly after losing to ALTERNATE aTTaX in the ESL Extreme Masters Relegation. The team was not able to qualify for the Masters finals which are held at the Cebit in March and also didn't have the success the organisation wanted to see. This meant another great Danish team disbands after wooSai announced their closure of the Counter-Strike team.
"The last six months have honestly been so amazing because the professionalism and dedication that the people behind Gravitas Gaming have brought us gave us the absolute best conditions as professional gamers. Big thanks to Corbin, Gareth and Rich! These months and our trip to L.A. will be something I'll always remember!"
Now Gravitas Gaming already announces the new team consisting of old Gravitas, wooSai and ideal gaming players. The only player left of the old team now is Andreas "KK" Andreasen and together with Alexander "telli" Lundkvist and Rasmus "FaagaN" Møller from wooSai as well as Bardi "bardi" Haraldsson and Nicolaj "Nuggi" Larsen from ideal gaming will he lead the new team.
The first event for the team will be the KODE5 Greece where the team will attempt to qualify for the KODE5 Global Finals, as well as local events and online competitions. "We are really quite excited with this new lineup as it is quite a change in theory from our previous team. The previous Gravitas lineup was very experienced and quite accomplished group of players, this time around we have bought in some of the absolute best talent in Denmark that are young and upcoming stars" said Corbin "cbnz" Crnkovic, Owner of Gravitas Gaming.
"because of the lack of consistency and big wins throughout the past few months this was the way it had to go"
"Sadly this is the end of this fantastic ride. We have been truly satisfied playing for Gravitas Gaming, however because of the lack of consistency and big wins throughout the past few months this was the way it had to go," said Jonas "wHimp" Svendsen in a statement for the Gravitas page."The last six months have honestly been so amazing because the professionalism and dedication that the people behind Gravitas Gaming have brought us gave us the absolute best conditions as professional gamers. Big thanks to Corbin, Gareth and Rich! These months and our trip to L.A. will be something I'll always remember!"
