Starcraft Ghost to be released after all

ImageBlizzard's co-founder Frank Pearce has confirmed that their plans to release Starcraft Ghost are not dead and the game will be finished.

StarCraft: Ghost, which was planned as tactical action game for video game consoles, was announced in 2002, but on March 24, 2006 its development was "postponed". Soon after it, Blizzard removed the website for this project and it was predicted that the game will be cancelled.

But now in the recent interview for MTV, Frank Pearce told that the game really was just postponed to focus on the bigger titles as the upcoming Stacraft II and the expansion for World of Warcraft - Wrath of the Lich King.
"It never was technically cancelled. It’s just a focus thing for us right now."

"It never was technically cancelled. It’s just a focus thing for us right now. We’ve got a finite amount of development resources and a lot of different things that we want to focus on so there’s always the possibility," told Frank Pearce at the MTV Multiplayer (via Kotaku) website.

So as soon as these two games will be released Blizzard will focus on it again.
