Championship Gaming Series has announced the official games for Season 2.Today, the CGS has revealed the official games for the starting Season 2. This time the tournament consists of four games, whence one is new on the list. Without any big surprises, Valve's Counter-Strike: Source returns as well as the FIFA, but with 2008 update. The only Xbox 360 game is Dead or Alive 4.
The newest game is Microsoft Game Studio's Forza Motorsport 2, which replaced Project Gotham Racing 3.
"After concluding our inaugural season last year, we conducted an extensive game review process to identify the most compelling and competitive games in the world," says Andy Reif, the CGS Commissioner.
"Our official game selections for the 2008 televised season are optimized to provide an unparalleled gaming experience for the players and our global broadcast audience alike."
CGS follows the same system as in Season 1, which embodys ten cyber athletes. Five of these athletes form the Counter-Strike: Source squad (5on5), one FIFA player (1on1), two Dead or Alive 4 and Forza Motorsport 2 gamers.
Between 7th - 9th March 2008 the CGS Season 2 will kick off in Austin, Texas at the South by Southwest ScreenBurn Arcade. Six teams will get their rosters renewed. These teams are: Los Angeles Complexity, New York 3D, Chicago Chimera, Carolina Core, San Francisco Optx, and Dallas Venom.

that's why.
I mean, we all like our games and stuff, but they are so difficult to understand we can't possibly expect a game like Warcraft 3 or World of Warcraft to entertain the majority of people out there. They can't enjoy the game because they can't undertand it.
With DM games (like Q3 :D), we have no such problem. :(
Can't wait to see what Seasason 2 holds, any dates for the EU Stuff starting?
