Tonight ESL announced the relegation pairs of Warcraft III for the upcoming Intel Extreme Masters Finals II.

The relegation pairs were sorted live on-air after the Intel Friday Night Game from their studio in Cologne.

As the last match between Grubby and fire_de is over, so is the group stage for the Intel Extreme Masters II. This part of the tournament which was going on for 75 days starting from 27 of November, gave a lot of great matches and now people like Yoan "ToD" Merlo, Mykhaylo "HoT" Novopashyn and René "Ciara" Krag have to battle in relegation whilst players like Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen and Juha-Matti "Satiini" Bäckström have already qualified.

The pairs for Warcraft III were made between the second and third placed players, with a note that the participants who were in the same group cannot play against each other. The winner from each pair will qualify for the EM Finals of season 2.

You can follow the upcoming and previous matches in our coverage.
