The German National WCG Final which was previously located in places like the IFA venues in Berlin, now will be held at the Games Convention. This means that it will now be the third major event among with ESL European Nations Cup and the NGL ONE Finals, held in the four halls of GC2008, later this year. Besides these events the GC provide their visitors with new game and hardware testing, fun sports, shows and the eSport Awards ceremony.

This will make it less comfortable for German teams and players to attend the ESWC Grand Finals.
As we previously reported the ESWC Grand Final will take place in San Jose, California, on August 25-27 which is just one day after Games Convention.
