The main round of ESL's Extreme Masters II for WC3 is over and we know the names of six players that have qualified to the playoffs at CeBIT and eight further names that will play additional matches to qualify. The Extreme Masters II playoffs on March 6-9 in Hanover will feature ten players. Two of them have qualified through the EM Los Angeles invitational tournament. Four are the tournament main round's group winners. The list of players will be complete after the special playoff matches between players that finished second and third in their groups.
The only question mark left is whether Andrew "fire_de" Regendantz can climb over Yoan "ToD" Merlo to take second place in Group C at the expense of the Frenchman. He will do so if he defeats Grubby tonight.
Group winners:
Samuli "elfittaja" Sihvonen

The ten players will be divided into two groups of five whose best players will go on to a four-man knock-out stage.
