Now starting with the first map of the grand final, which was de_mirage. The Polish team PL Virtus.pro started on the less favored T side, but managed to win the all important pistol round. The third round was won by PL Jarosław 'pasha' Jarząbkowski himself, as he managed to take down four opponents with USP-S pistol only. The fourth and first gun round went to SE Ninjas in Pyjamas , as we witnessed devastating retake of bombsite B from the Swedish team. PL Paweł 'byali' Bieliński scored the fifth round with three additional frags. The seventh round was won flawlessly by the Polish pride against the eco rounded Ninjas in Pyjamas. Unfortunately for Virtus.pro, the Swedish giants won the next round flawlessly. Virtus.pro won the ninth round in a 3on1 situation against SE Richard 'Xizt' Landström. PL Wiktor 'TaZ' Wojtas and pasha secured the tenth round with two kills from each. The eleventh round was close for the Polish team, but luckily byali managed to score three frags against NiP and win the round. SE Patrik 'f0rest' Lindberg and SE Adam 'friberg' Friberg won a vital 2on2 situation during the twelfth round. Good overall performance by the former in-game leader of NiP Xizt came up during the next round, but unfortunately he was unable to win the round. Another strong retake of bombsite A came from the Swedish team, as friberg managed to score three kills to win the fourteenth round in a 2on2 situation. The youngster byali won the last round of the first half for Virtus.pro with four additional kills in the scoreboard.

PL Filip 'NEO' Kubski won the pistol round for Virtus.pro in style with three beautiful frags. Xizt managed to win the next round by successfully defending bombsite A on a Glock save round with four stunning kills as a bonus. Ninjas in Pyjamas won flawlessly one more round versus the eco rounded Polish team. PL Janusz 'Snax' Pogorzelski went absolutely insane, as he managed to sneak behind the Swedish players and score three instant kills with only one clip of the M4A1-S. VP's hero pasha won an AWP duel against f0rest, giving his team the upper hand to win the round easy. The Swedish giants managed to secure one more round in a tight 2on2 situation. Yet another incredible action from pasha arrived, as he completely wiped out three players to set the score on map point. TaZ and snax won the last round and the first map with impressive score.

The second map was de_inferno, where the Polish pride started on the slightly more favored CT side. Virtus.pro managed to secure the pistol round, as we witnessed the Polish team executing a well coordinated strategy, which in result left Xizt in a 1on4 situation loss in the end. The Polish pride won the second round flawlessly. Three brilliant AWP frags by pasha won the first gun round for his team. VP's byali scored four frags with FAMAS in order to win the fifth round for his team flawlessly. NiP won the sixth round, thanks to friberg who managed to win an important 3on1 situation against NEO, scoring three extra kills for the scoreboard. SE Christopher 'GeT_RiGhT' Alesund successfully infiltrated bombsite B and won the seventh round very close with three kills. Perfect and massive grenades usage from the Polish team scored them the eighth round. VP's pasha shot down three targets in the back in order to win the tenth round. However, Ninjas in Pyjamas managed to secure the eleventh round. Strong round by Virtus.pro followed, as we witnessed the Polish squad leaving Xizt alone in a dangerous 3on1 situation. The out of control pasha jumped in with four awesome frags with the AWP, winning yet another round for Virtus.pro. Ninjas in Pyjamas won the last round of the first half, thanks to SE Robin 'Fifflaren' Johansson and f0rest's excellent play.

The second half seemed to be more suitable for the Swedish team, but yet it finished earlier than expected. Xizt and friberg clutched a close 2on2 situation and won the pistol round. Four FAMAS frags from friberg kept his team in lead for few more rounds during the second half. The Swedish giants clutched yet another dangerous 2on2 situation in order to win the first gun round. Four important kills were executed by f0rest. Unfortunately, the legendary Polish player NEO delivered the next round for Virtus.pro, as we witnessed him brilliantly scoring three frags. Another solid round was delivered by NEO, who once again took down three enemies. It seems that NEO is back in business ladies and gentlemen, as he once again came huge for the Polish team with two important entry kills on bombsite B. Xizt won a unbelievable round for Ninjas in Pyjamas, as he shot down fast three targets with only a pistol in hands. Unfortunately that was simply not enough for the Swedish giants to overcome the now on fire Virtus.pro, as we witnessed snax and pasha winning the last round of the second map. Virtus.pro won the EMS One Katowice CS:GO Championship 2014.
