Almost all matches of the ESL Extreme Masters Season 2 have been played but nothing is decided yet. SK Gaming is currently placed first in Group C clearly winning all of their matches. On the other side tonight's opponent Competo is placed second winning and losing twice, but they can still advance.

Competo just changed their lineup with one of their key players Tim 'mason' Kleemann leaving the team. They replaced him with Christian 'ChRRRRp' Porten who they have known for a long time already from former teams but they have said that the team has to practice a lot for their upcoming matches.

Even though SK Sweden is the big favourite here it won't be an easy match for them as Competo have been playing a pretty good Pro Series and Extreme Masters season so far; so it will be interesting to see how much the roster change affects them.

As usual the match will be played as a Best-of-Three with both teams eliminating maps from the pool having to play the remaining ones. The maps haven't been picked yet but with de_cbble being in the pool it could be in favour of the German team due to playing this map in the ESL Pro Series.

If SK manages to win all of their matches they will advance to the Extreme Masters Finals without having to play the relegation matches while Competo need to win too so they can keep up their chances to qualify. The match is scheduled to start at 20:00 CET tonight and ESL-TV is also broadcasting this match in German.
