DreamHack launches Arctic edition
The world's largest computer festival has launched a new edition of the traditional DreamHack event.

The world's largest computer festival has launched a new edition of the traditional DreamHack event.This time the gamers and other computer enthusiasts gather in Skellefteå, where DreamHack will be organizing the event in association with Luleå University of Technology.
DreamHack Arctic 2008 will take place at the Expolaris Congress Centre between 27th - 30th March.
Gaming Tournaments
The event will have a electronic sports side as DreamHack will provide another exciting adventure for pure gamers. Together with DreamHack's local partners, they are hosting the Northern Open Championship tournament, where the best of Counter-Strike are about to face again and show the skills. The reigning DreamHack Champion (WGT), Made in Brazil is defending the title.
The first prize is "genuine gold, from the Gold of Lapland", as said at the official press release.
DreamHack Skellefteå will also include the first episode of the Electronic Sports World Cup 2008 Sweden qualifiers.
Amongst other, the event will have a movie festival, DreamCampus, Monster Parade, and other fascinating shows. Tickets will be released on the 25th of February 2008.
