Coming from the lower bracket, ShowTimed had to win two best of five series in order to take the title, however the winner was decided after only one which Avada managed to win 3-2. As mentioned earlier, both teams plays the exact same setup, although the rogue specs is what differs them. Adrasill from Avada plays assasination/shadowstep while Zom(formerly known as Xom) is famous for his success with mutilate. Adrasill is currently the highest ranked rogue in the world, and Zom used to be, however their specs seemed to have quite an impact of the game. Avada took two straight wins before Xom ditched his beloved mutilate and instead went deep combat - which seemed to turn the tables around as they won the next two games, and finally lost the last.

This means that the first edition of Cyclone Tour is finished, and became a huge success. Not only did the videos get thousands of downloads, but it also inspired our fellow Americans to start a 5vs5 tournament in the notorious battlegroup 9.

The second tournament is already planned and teams in the Cyclone battlegroup can sign up via contacting Seita in #cyclone.tour on QuakeNet. The eight teams picked will be announced February 7th, so stay tuned untill then!
