Serennia and Neilyo 2vs2?

By Sebastian 'gosey' Selin

A few weeks ago Serennia made a great interview with SK, where he in detail explained pretty much everything there is to know about the warrior and arena pvp. He also mentioned that he was playing a druid, and today he revealed his secrets of him and Neilyos 2vs2 team who recently reached 2300 rating in bg9.

In his latest blog entry, Serennia explains some very nice details about the success of balance/resto druid and rogue in 2vs2, and also rogue/rogue/druid in 3vs3.

Here's a clip:

"The first day we played, we were getting used to how we played somewhat and polished some strategies, yet we took "OMFG WHO TALKED TO DOMO" from 2002 to 2236 in one day of playing going 44-8. The next day we played on "Chance" starting at 2200 and taking it up to 2306 going 16-1. I won't make excuses, but the 1 loss was really silly and it should easily be 17-0.

Neilyo runs as assassination/shadowstep and I do agree with him that it is better than combat/shadowstep, at least for this comp and bracket. We've done extremely well so far without losing to the same team more than once except Slayer's Crest the first day when we had a bad strategy going 1-2, but then we 2-0'd them today. Druid/warrior has been almost farm status for us, and anything with a warlock is very easy, as well, despite the fact that rogues can't break fear like warriors, proven by us beating Wojo/Ikaylol and Hafu/Glickz several times (p.s. hafu, that was me playing priest/warrior with Swarm when we farmed you, too!)."
