ImagePark ''SK|Lyn'' June expressed his regret at not providing entertaining matches for his fans at the AWL Final.

Despite playing the a week long Professional Gaming League Warcraft III Season 2 in Beijing, China and Afreeca Warcraft III League Season 2 Final in Yongsan, Korea back to back, Park "SK|Lyn" June shined at the Grand Final yesterday and left his younger Orc brother, Hyosub "FoCuS" Eom from MeetYourMakers in doom and gloom.

Although the 21-year-old player has a win ratio as high as 68% in Orc mirror game, he was still considered to be the underdog before the Grand Final took place as the shoutcasters predicted FoCuS would claim the champion with ease. He told FightForum in the post-match interview: "I wanted to protest against the shoutcasters right after I heard it, but I decided to prove them wrong in game."

The newly crowned champion revealed that his victory was largely based on his good preparation in spite of the tight schedule.

"There are many people who thought I didn't prepare for this match due to PGL, but the fact is that I had very good practice thanks to Fly100% and xiaOt during PGL and I also practiced a bit when I got back to Korea with my team mates."

"Luck is always a major element in game, especially in mirror game. Though I prepared a lot for the Grand Final, I believe FoCuS prepared some special tactics aimed at me as well so I was pretty lucky in the Final."

He finished the interview by expressing his regret at not providing entertaining matches to his loyal fans in the Grand Final and his expectations this year.

"There were so many people came here and I really appreciated their support. Too bad that the consolation final was more exciting. I told myself to provide a final with a great entertainment factor before the match, but I failed. I am sorry for it."

"WCG champion will be my number one target this year. I was so sad that I could not make it through the group stage last year and I want to prove that I am not a defwin for my opponents."
