SK Gaming's Walle, Robban, ReMinD, Lyn and Get_RiGhT were nominated for the GGL's annual Players of the Year award. No other team has got more players nominated this year.

The award is one of the oldest and most prestigious awards in competitive gaming. Esports journalists from around the world have been picking the Player of the Year and the Revelation of the Year in several games since 2002.

Members of SK's Counter-Strike team, Robert "Robban" Dahlstrom and Dennis "Walle" Wallenberg were nominated for the 2007 Player of the Year award. Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund was nominated as the CS Revelation of 2007, a category for newcomers or players that have made a major improvement.

Kim "ReMinD" Sung Sik and June “Lyn” Park were nominated for the Warcraft 3 Player and Revelation of 2007, respectively.

SK Gaming and Meet Your Makers have each got five players nominated for the awards, more than any other professional gaming team.

The only category where I have doubts is the CS Revelation category. All the others have very clear favourites.

well wc3 is pretty close between moon and creo imho
obviously moon is overall the more sucessful player, but creo with his wcg title is just...a legend

Surely Soju deserved to be chosen over ReMinD? He won ESWC if I remember right?

of course Creo was one of the best war3 player during the 2007 season (when did he really stop ?)but now he is retired and in my opinion it doesn't make sense to give him the title even if he deserve it just because he is not a taking part of the community anymore.

Remind won estars and finished 2nd at blizzcon. SoJu played a very strong ESWC, that is for sure! Tough call between both ;)

they deserve to be there but they shouldnt win =) imo moon, creo, dsn/forest/robban/some BR-dude and mSx/sunde should win.

yeah or maybe not revelation of the year but player of the year cause allen is really amazing ;) I'd put him or tentpole instead of robban, don't want to take nothing away from him but I think they were just performing better than him this year =)

Lyn was great player in 2006 as well but imroved very very much in 2007 and is now amazing player. On the other hand we got Focus who was not that good in 2006 as Lyn but now is at very close level to Lyn. So I think these 2 will have most votes.
