The GGL has published the nominees for the Players of 2007 Award. Each year, the world's esports journalists vote for the best players and the most improved players in their respective games.

The GGL has published the nominees for the Players of 2007 Award. Each year, the world's esports journalists vote for the best players and the most improved players in their respective games.The voters are traditionally representatives of the international esports media such as websites, magazines and shoutcasting stations. For last year, players were nominated in five categories:
