WCG Europe hits CeBIT again
The Samsung Euro Championship was officially announced to be held at CeBIT on March 6-9, with a prize purse of $100,000.

The Samsung Euro Championship was officially announced to be held at CeBIT on March 6-9, with a prize purse of $100,000.This is SEC's fourth consecutive appearance at the show in Hanover, Germany. The event is the European counterpart to the World Cyber Games finals. It will host teams and players from 30 different countries in tournaments for Need for Speed: Pro Street, FIFA 08, Dead or Alive 4, Project Gotham Racing 4, Counter-Strike 1.6, Warcraft III and Command & Conquer 3.
Next to the Extreme Masters II finals, the Samsung Euro Championship is the second large esports event held at CeBIT. Last year, SK Gaming's Counter-Strike team and Warcraft III player Mykhaylo "HoT" Novopashin won gold medals and the Daniel "Hero" Schellhase was third in the FIFA tournament.
