The WB final of Cyclone Tour #1 was finished tonight and it looked very much like most other games in the tournament so far the "drain setup" Warrior, Hunter, Warlock, Priest & Paladin vs the new "Rogue with 2 healer team" Rogue, Mage, Warlock, Priest & Druid.
Avada Kedavra took their third straight win in the tournament with three straight wins against Nihilum, who were back to playing their normal setup. Nagrand, Nagrand and Ruins of Lordareon were played, something that slightly favoured Avada.
- "I would say we have a slight advantage in those arenas, at least if you look on an early perspective of the match due to it's a lot easier for me to get a sap and opener in. Also the target we mainly focus is a lot easier for me to stick on with dispelling and such as the arenas are more 'open'." says Adrassil, Avada Kedavra's rogue.
Thee of the five highest rated teams in Cyclone play the relatively new Rogue, Mage, Warlock, Priest & Druid setup, and two of the three remaining teams in the tournament.
- "Right now I would say it's one of the strongest setups out there, the crowd control and coordinated burst the setup can put out is really hard to control for the other team, the setup works a lot like RMP in 3v3. It's hard to say why it's so successful in Cyclone at the moment because the 'normal' and common setups don't differ that much compared to other battlegroups, maybe it started to develop here and we might see a big increase of this setup in other battlegroups soon as well."
Nihilum will now be facing ShowTimed in the consolation final, and the winner in that match needs to win two best of five series in the grand final in order to take the first place. They played each other earlier in the winner bracket semi-final, where Nihilum came out on top after using a three healer setup, something that they won't be doing in this match.
- "If Nihilum runs their regular setup that we faced today I think it will be ShowTimed for sure," says Adrassil when asked about their opponents in the final.
Movies from Avada's Rogue and Priest POV will be available here later tonight, so stay tuned!

GL in your next matches, lookin forward to the final :)
Curse of tongue on a Rogue LOL.
And you're all saying that Cyclone is the place to be? there are other BG in Europe (Spanish, German, French) where there are teams far better than what I have seen on these videos...
Select top 3 teams from all BGs in Europe and you'll see that Cyclone's team won't go far.
We'll never know for sure, but the Cyclone realm have had pretty much all the best teams from Blackout/Reckoning/Misery transfering there, so out of all English speaking battlegroups, I can ensure you that it's the best.
I'd really like to see a PoV from Nihilum on this one though...(or add a spectator mode omg blizzard). Because the fights really seemed way too...easy. Like they had no shot at all, and I can't tell from just your vids if they played it badly or the matchup is just completely horrible for them. Watching your party members HP, nobody on your team was taking significant damage, which implies a ridiculous amount of control and lack of ability by them to stop it. Their warrior must have been incredibly frustrated. Also, you managed to never be feared or stunned or interfered with in any significant way, which I can't help but see as a complete failure by Nihilum.
