Warcraft III: Moon defeats Sky in PGL final

The best paid Korean Warcraft III player in 2007 showed his worth and claimed the champion after sweeping Sky in three straight maps in the grand final.

The "Fantasista" JaeHo "Moon" Jang expounded the art of Night Elf and Warden fantastically in the Grand Final and took his revenge for losing to Xiao Feng "Sky" Li in the Grand Final last season. The World Cyber Games bronze medalist has been amazing throughout the entire tournament. He has not let a single best of three or best of five format match slip from his fingers in such a keen competition tournament.

Third place went to the Undead player Jung Hee "Sweet" Chun, who defeated Liwei "xiaot" Sun. The final standings of PGL Warcraft III Season 2 looks as follows:

1. JaeHo "Moon" Jang - $7.500
2. Xiao Feng "Sky" Li - $3.000
3. Jung Hee "Sweet" Chun - $2.000

It's a photo from Games Convention 2007. He wears a cast to support the hand sometimes because he had it broken in 2006.

PGL wasnt as good this season. Too many chinese players, they arent good enough. Grubby, 2-3 other koreans and maybe another from eu would've been better. Always the same UDs from korea also...

I'd say sweet deserved 2nd place :/ he lost to moon 1-3, not like sky 0-3 :D so this gives him advantage :P but still really gj moon ! congrats sweet ! and ye... "no one on earth can beat me" gl in future ;P

funny how some noob whiners complain about Dh staff and wells, when Moon won with Warden, glaives and without staff. Moon is the 5th race, just look at his kill record in PGL.

Though I'd wish the semifinals would've been Moon vs Xiaot and finally Sweet vs Sky. Sweet played so nice vs xiaot, I would've loved to see him vs Sky.

Final was impressive match and Sweet was very good in this event.
(especially vs Moon at quarterfinal, vs Xiaot for 3rd place)
