KODE5 expands to Greece

ImageThe Global Gaming Revolution continues this time in the home of Olympics, Greece.



KODE5 has lately pushed the gaming, their tournament concept forward with such great passion by releasing heaps of new stops in "new-to-eSports" locations. Uzbekistan, South-Africa, Japan, Ukraine, and now the latest, Greece.

The speed will not become slower as KODE5 will keep publishing new qualifier stops during the upcoming days. A source behind KODE5 unveiled they are about to announce the longed-for prize information for Global Finals, and other necessary details very soon. Most likely next week.

"As the demand for more KODE5 events continues to rise, we have decided to add more countries to the 2007 season," said Thomas Kuhlenbach, the Revolutionary-at-Arms of KODE5 council.

KODE5 Greece

KODE5 is now giving honey to Greek Counter-Strike players, as according to the official statement, they will be organizing the Counter-Strike 1.6 tournament only in Greece.
"Greece has been active in e-sports many years, but there is a lack of world-wide professional organizations in this country."

In association with Battlegrounds Gaming Stations, KODE5 hosts eight Regional Qualifiers in eight Greek cities, where the best of will continue to an exciting Regional Finals event. It takes place in Athens, Greece between 8th - 9th March at the BattleGrounds Athens gaming cafe.

"Greece has been active in e-sports many years, but there is a lack of world-wide professional organizations in this country," commented Andreas Krommydas, BattleGrounds Event Manager.

"Our partnership with KODE5 will surely boost the interest of Greek gamers and act as a catalyst to promote competitive gaming."
