Another G7 member has discovered the new Call of Duty title and added a team under their belt.
Ever since the Swedish team left their previous home EYEBALLERS few weeks back, rumours have been floating which organisation they would join up with next. People were talking about that they would join up with Meet Your Makers because of a comment a staff member had left to a post on their website that they might add a Call of Duty 4 team, but no as today the rumours got answers. The team that had won Wonderbase 2007 has joined up with well-known organisation fnatic.
According to the announcement post on fnatic's website the team had been discussing with the rumoured Meet Your Makers as well as SK Gaming but they found fnatic to be more what they were looking for and the organisation felt more like home to them. With the support of their new organisation, the team is going to participate Crossfire Devotii Challenge 4 in Holland at the end of February and the Multiplay i33 in March. They are also participating the hottest online tournament in Europe CODQCUP as we speak and are facing Da Imperal Executors on Upperbracket round 2 tonight. Check out our coverage from here.
New fnatic
Martin "mintR" Röjder
Daniel "tidde" Asp
Mikael "Zsilts" Smedberg
Markus "Odyx" Nilsson
Johnny "klanne" Wahlqvist
Rickard "zEm" Intveld (Inactive)
"Fnatic felt more like a home for us than an organisation. We will wear the colors with pride and do the best we can, for as long as we can! Finally we would like to thank Fnatic, Sam, Jay and Joe for this chance!", said Martin Röjder in his brief statement on fnatic.com.
