The Grand Final of the current Extreme Masters season will be held at CeBIT 2008, according to it's host - ESL.

The Grand Final of the current Extreme Masters season will be held at CeBIT 2008, according to it's host - ESL.The Grand Final of Extreme Masters will gather not only the best eight European players and teams from the undergoing Extreme Masters Season 2 Main Round, but also the best two non-European players and teams from the Global Challenge which previously took place in the "City of Angels" Los Angeles last year.
Four top players and teams from each group in Extreme Masters Season 2 Main Round will qualify for the Grand Final, while the second placed and third placed participants will play an extra match to get hold of the last chance to join their group leader in the Grand Final at CeBIT 2008 and show their full strength in front of the audience from all around the world. ESL TV will air the group stage on Thursday and Friday at the ESL studio through their 400Kbit free stream and 700 Kbit and 1 MBit premium streams, and of course the playoffs right at CeBIT 2008 in Hannover, Germany on March 8 and March 9.
