Fredrik "KnOfF" Knopf left PGS last week and has now found a new home in BioXar, a German organization that recently hired the 360eSports WarCraft III team."I'm playing for fun" starts Knopf, explaining his decision to join BioXar.FortKnox. Knopf climbed to the top tiers of the European WarCraft III scene rather quickly last year with the climax being the entry in Mousesports. After having touched that peak he admits he lost a huge part of what made him winning his games: the enjoyment. "It wasn't playing for fun, it was playing for victory, and this [fun] is what I have to feel to win my games."
After Mousesports and a short time in JuSt Players, Knopf went back to the team that marked a good part of his career, PGS.PokerStrategy. During these four months his results weren't awful - but not so brilliant either. "I played so bad recently when everything was so serious and I was only playing to win. Now I'm sure it will be different."
Together with the German player Marc "Night" Piechulla (formerly in Raptor Gaming), Knopf completed the roster of BioXar. BioXar acquired the 360eSports WarCraft team only a few days ago and they are going to test the renewed team in the upcoming NGL-TWO qualifier. Dave "DrunKin" Pella and Florian "MyMusic" Glaser, two of the four BioXar managers, agree on this qualifier being very hard for all participants, with only ALTERNATE.aTTaX being a clear favorite. Still, says Glaser, "everything can happen" and they are surely not too pessimistic about their chances.
"To be honest I cannot say anything about a further addition to our qualifier team" continues Florian on the topic of future team changes. They put a lot of expectations on their two new players so they might try their luck with the present team.
