ImageAnother hullabaioo news concerns video gaming as in-game battling followed later to real battle, in real life.

Russia Today reports a story of an 33 year-old student, Albert, who got murdered in real life basically due to in-game dispute between two guilds.

It all started, when Coo-clocks and Platanium guilds faced each other in virtual battles at Lineage II, Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. A few days before New Year's Eve, Albert's guild, Platanium, killed one of the Coo-clock's members.
"I think they have confused the game and reality."

After Platanium's action both parties agreed to meet up in real life, in the city of Ufa. The meeting followed up to a real fight, whence Albert got injured badly. In the very end, Albert died from his injuries on the way to hospital.

"I think they have confused the game and reality. And after we buried him on December 31, they continued to threaten us," told Albert's sister, Albina at the RussiaToday.ru website.

The 22 year-old defendant is now waiting to get charged.

After the disputes, Coo-clock's guild continued to threaten Albert's family, as one of the threats was later pointed to Albert's sister.
