Blizzard's RTS Community manager Karune updates further on the most wanted Warcraft III patch.
The demand for a new Warcraft III patch is increasing every second, which pushes the Blizzard Representative Karune to post every update on the making of the new patch he receives.
Today Karune revealed another more information on the issue after receiving feedback from the developers on the Blizzard General Discussion Forum. Instead of releasing the gameplay patch to meet the community's needs, a no CD patch will be completed as early as January 28. Though the patch will be moved up on the priority list, the estimated date of completion for the gameplay patch has yet to be decided.
This update may seem to be disappointing to those Warcraft III fans who are desperately waiting for the new patch, however, it shows that Blizzard is truly working on fixing the issues in the current version instead of releasing several patches to "Fixed a crash that could happen in multiplayer games."
This is what Karune has to say on the new patch:
''January 15th, 2008 - The producer has gotten back to me and the patch for Warcraft III will be moved up on the priority list. They also have intentions of including a no CD patch prior to the gameplay patch. The no CD patch could be finished as early as January 28th. I should also be getting an estimated time of completion for the gameplay patch shortly. In addition, at the convenience of the development team, I also hope to interview one of the producers on the process of patch creation.''
