With just over a week before the CEVO Placement Tournament for the Professional 1.6 division opens, Cyberglobe has announced their return to the Counter-Strike scene.

Cyberglobe is a well-known American team who has had a large amount of success on the west coast with several top placings in the past, and many CAL Invite appearances.

Today, the team has unveiled their new lineup as they prepare for the upcoming CEVO Placement Tournament, that will allow Cyberglobe and fifteen other teams to battle for several spots in next seasons Professional division.

Leading up this new squad will be former Check Six and NetFragz player, Noah "StrikeR" Alvarado. Adding to his lineup will be two former Backfire players, Jon "Heppler" Heppler and Paul "Adrenaline" Baker.

Looking to finalize their roster, they looked into several other players, as well as some from the old Cyberglobe lineups and have announced that Charlie "publicenemy" Hartsook, who is also local to the team, will be added. Capping off the new roster will be none other than former united5 star, Mike "CuZ" Nang. Nang has past experiences under several teams, such as d2x, Green Berets and of course, Cyberglobe.

You can see the new lineup compete next week in the CEVO Placement tournament as they look to put their name back on the map and try for a spot in the next CEVO Professional season.
