LA compLexity's manager, Jason Lake, 36, will be retiring next week say the recent rumours.According to the latest posts at LA compLexity's website, one of the most successful managers in the history of electronic sports has been rumoured to retire from the competitive side as a General Manager of LA compLexity, CGS franchise team.
There is no certainty what will be Lake's next moves, but some have pointed out that he will be moving to Championship Gaming Series management part just like Team 3D's former manager, Craig "Torbull" Levine did last year.
Jason Lake himself shocked the community yesterday by stating that he will be making an official announcement on the 14th of January 2008, next Monday. He did not unveil any details as of yet.
If Jason Lake announces his retirement next Monday, this would basically mean that his Co-GM, Alex Garfield will be promoted to General Manager.
Stay tuned for further announcements!

him and torbull dragged the USA esports scene into the steaming pile of crap that is CGS. I really hope cgs folds soon.
The biggest mistake by valve was seperating the 2 communities and I'm sure they'll regret it within the year mark my word ;).
Ah ye, and off the record: DOTA FTW!!! :P
ontopic: he was a great manager and character to watch, always, and everywhere. So much ambition, all of his heart and soul he put into it, and no one seemed to have more of a drive to make the top. unfortunately CGS lured him into their stranglehold with their big moneystream :
happy to see aZn back though =]
