Lyn overcame two Night Elf players and advanced to semi-final at CEG today. The majority of the community predicted that June 'Lyn' Park would have a hard time before him in the elimination stage after our superstar saw himself in the higher part of the bracket with three NE players: Korean veteran Hyeong Ju 'Check' Lee, Hao 'suhO' Su and Lyn's team-mate Sung Sik 'ReMinD' Kim.
ReMinD gave away the chance of meeting his team-mate in the quarter-final after a 1-2 loss against suhO in Round 16, while Lyn overcame Check by a score of 2-1 thrillingly. Later he had to face suhO who had been in shape during this tournament. The Chinese elite perfectly saved his dying heroes with staff of preservation several times on Echo Isles and secured the first game. suhO intended to mass expansion in the second game which was on Twisted Meadows. Though suhO successfully built some expansions, Lyn defended his harassments well and killed his expansions before they handed suhO any major advantage. After capitalizing on some of suhO's mistakes, Lyn pushed the match into the last game and won the match with ease.
Lyn will face the Chinese Orc star Fly100% in the semi-final after the Starcraft final. Fly100% has shown dynamic performances this tournament by conquering both ForDream and Sky. Although Lyn has as high as 80% win ratio at mirror games, it is still going to be a hard match for him as Fly100% is also good at this match-up. The maps for this match will be TurtleRock, TerenasStand and TwistedMeadows. We wish him best of luck in the semi-final!
