Loord explains PGS-MYM transfer

ImageMariusz "Loord" Cybulski has revealed the story behind the ESWC champions' transfer from PGS Gaming to Meet Your Makers in an interview for Frag Executors.

If there were doubts about the reasons the most interesting change on the Counter-Strike scene, there are none after the interview. Loord explains that the large part of the reason why the winners of the eSports Team of the Year award left PGS was their trip to the Los Angeles Extreme Masters Tournament.

"We were wondering what we have done to PGS that they punish us like that," said Loord. According to the player, the team received no support from the management during their stay in LA. The players came to the City of Angels straight from the WCG in Seattle and did not play a single match together prior to the EM competition.

Furthermore, Loord had to put up $4,000 of his private money for the accommodation, as "it was difficult to contact [their] old organisation, there were moments when [the players] thought that [the management] avoided [them] because they didn't answer phones or emails." The money was reimbursed eventually.

The interview reveals much of what has never made it to the public light about the entire PGS-MYM issue, including the details on how the matter was resolved between the teams and the players. Should you be interested, you can find it here.
