Following their successful run at the KODE5 US Finals, eMazing Gaming has announced that Kevin "aZn" Wang will make his full-time return to 1.6 as an active player for their roster.
Last week, eMazing Gaming made a few roster changes before the US Finals which saw the departures of both Matthew "lim" Beahan and Robert "Ph0bius" Irey.
This move would was made to make changes for the better, as the team prepared for the US Finals and beyond. Joining as a full-time player would be Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert from X3O Gaming, however eMg announced that Wang was only a stand-in for the finals, until today.
After defeating X3O Gaming in the finals, two maps to one, the team announced today that they will be adding Kevin as a full-time player, completing their roster for the Global Finals and any event in the upcoming future. I managed to catch a few moments with Scott "evolution" Cavallero, who shared this.
"Well, as everyone knows Kevin's an amazing player and we really look forward to further cementing our teamwork within the next few weeks before the global finals.
Our expectations are nothing less than a top 3 finish. Given the amount of time we have to practice, we feel this is a good goal for our first major event of the year."
The team will be competing in the upcoming CEVO 1.6 Professional division once again, which will be entering it's eighth season. Last season after the team had a great run, they managed to finish third overall. The team will also make their trip to the Kode5 Global Finals later this year.
