The CEG Shaoxing Tour will begin at 03:00 CET in China tomorrow.
CEG Shaoxing Tour, which marks the end of the CEG2007 series, will take place from 11 of January to 13 of January. While the event will feature many tournaments like Counter-Strike 1.6, StarCraft, FIFA and NFS, the WarCraft III tournament draws most attention around the world.
Though the first place will only receive a comparatively low prize money which is around $2,700, quite a few players of great renown from both China and Korea are announced to attend the tournament. Two of our SK players, June 'Lyn' Park and Sung Sik 'ReMinD' Kim, will also join the battle. Chun Jung 'Sweet' Hee cancelled his participation due to personal reason. His team mate Hyeong Ju 'Check' Lee will fill his gap at this tournament. All the players will be drawn into eight groups randomly without any seeding. Best two players from each group will advance to next single elimination stage. Matches in group stage will follow the best of one system while matches in elimination stage will be best of three.
PPLive is said to air the event throughly, but which channel of PPLive will stream is yet to be announced.
The groups have been released a few minutes ago. To get more information concerning schedule and groups, take a look at our CEG Shaoxing Coverage.
