With the recent changes of their merge with NoA and changes in their Counter-Strike 1.6 team, mTw are now changing another team. After an unexpected merge with Team NoA to mTw and the removal of their Counter-Strike Germany team, mTw are removing another team in the form of their Quake team.
A small insite to Quake
Quake is a first person shooter (FPS) game which was released in 1996, since then it has gone through different versions and evolving with gaming. Quake is in its fourth version at the moment and the other releases being Quake II, Quake III Arena, Quake 4 and Enemy Territory: Quake Wars.
Quake has been at the heart of gaming with the starting of theCPL (The Cyber Professional League) and events like Quakecon in North America, ESWC (Electronic Sports World Cup) and more but we are slowly seeing the decline in competitions.
Keeping that in mind this mTw dropped their Quake team consisting of Marcel "k1llsen" Paul and Ivo "forever" Lindhout because the only event worth attending being ESWC, mTw thanked the duo whole heartedly and wished them the best of luck in the future but as they see it Quake has no future.
With mTw shaking up 2008 with many changes we at SK-Gaming wish mTw and the ex-Quake players forever and k1llsen the best of luck!
