So as to explore the Chinese market, the PGL committee leaves six spaces to the Chinese novices. The qualifier will take place from January 9 to January 11. Those who qualify will join their Chinese fellows Sky, xiaOt, TH000 and Fly100% at the PGL 2nd Season.

32 contenders are drawn into eight groups in the first group stage which will follow the best of three system. The best two from each group will advance to the second group stage. Here is the groups for first group stage:
