Player overturns company concerning in-game items
A Chinese World Of Legend player, has won a law suit against Shanda Interactive Entertainment. The game developer was ordered to pay $680 dollars over the in-game item 'issue'. Before the case, the player had lost a number of virtual items to Shanda's 'police investigation'.

A Chinese World Of Legend player, has won a law suit against Shanda Interactive Entertainment. The game developer was ordered to pay $680 dollars over the in-game item 'issue'. Before the case, the player had lost a number of virtual items to Shanda's 'police investigation'.The company claimed that the six items which were on sale, were stolen, and therefore decided to take the items as a matter of police investigation. Shanda Interactive Entertainment however, failed to return the items, despite police guidance. In the end, leading to the court case, which the player easily won.
According to latest reports, the player is making a return to court, concerned with suing 'SIE' once again, but this time for $20,000 dollars, leaning on the fact that he had spent a vast amount of time, accumulating over 5 years, playing the company's MMORPG game.
