HOW ARE THE COEFFICIENT RANKINGS CALCULATED?

» Basic calculation criteria:

Matches: All matches of FIFA ESL Masters Series, (formerly known as EMS, IPS, and CL) & Knock-Out Series (KOS);

Results: Two points for each win, one Point for a tie, and no points for losses.

Participation: One Bonus Point to take part in FIFA EMS or KOS.

Period: Last five seasons, gradual decline in importance of results: 100% - 80% - 60% - 40% - 20%.

Importance of finals: Four Bonus Points for competition winners, three Bonus Points for runner-ups, two Bonus Points for third placed teams, and one Bonus Point for fourth placed teams. Furthermore two Bonus Points can be gained by reaching the second group stage in FIFA EMS.
Period: Last five seasons, gradual decline in importance of results: 100% - 80% - 60% - 40% - 20%.

Number of teams: The number of all teams from a National (or Regional) Premiership in EMS or IPS. The summarized points will be divided by this number.
