The interview covers alot of interesting subjects, from the latest explosion of G7 not attending CPL, to his favourite gaming career moment. Here is a small snippet.
When and how did you start your gaming adventure with Counter-Strike?
"Started to play on a serious level in middle of 2002. I broke my elbow in a soccer game. Has a plastic thing around my whole arm in like 3month. I was not that into pc games to be honest. I rather play console game than sittin infron of the computer and play with the keyboard. To control things with the keyboard was too difficult for me back then. But after a while, all my friends started to play cs with each other and it looked really fun. That’s when my friends help me out. They showed me the game and I ran with it. And now I’m here. To keep long story short, that’s how I started this game."
Which moment during your gaming carrier you think was the best one, maybe there is some situation that you remember best. Let me help you a little ... CPL 2005 SK Gaming vs. NiP at de_cbble, does it sound familiar?
"Haha. Well, yea. That was awesome moment. To bad i didn't make it tho. But that is still one of my favourite moments i guess. It's not easy to hide from 4 NiP players when they are 1meter in front of you all the time. And to win WCG with SK is one of my favorite moments."

By the way funny interview, he seems to be a nice guy !!
# Valve first launched Source and lately long waited ProMod was released. So why professional gamers still play Counter-Strike 1.6?
Simple question. Source is bad and 1.6 is good still. This has nothing to do with this question but i just wanna get it of my chest. Most of source players are 1.6 players who dident make it.
# There is stereotype showing each gamer as person in glasses spending whole time in front of PC. We know that it's hopefully not true. So tell me something about SpawN – girls relations.
Its sad that every person who dont play pc or something are connecting us gamers with some kinds of nerds. Thats what i really trying to change. They are judging people so fast. But i cant really talk for everyone cuz its alot of nerds in this scene. But im trying my best to get that nerd stample of us gamers. And on the other hand. The girls like me :)
Looks to be much better than steelseries :)
I always said steelseries is low!!!!!!!
And now even the cs stars are playing with razer even they have a contract with steelseries :o

Of course SpawN slightly simplified the situation by saying all CS:S players are CS 1.6 has beens but he does have a valid point.
Saying that CGS is the future and has so much more money than other tournaments, I guess you should first look at how many teams actually get money from CGS and how many teams earn money by playing in CS 1.6 tournaments all over the world.
Anyway Im gonna leave it at this. Lets just say the article written in response to SpawN answer is just as bad as it claims SpawNs response was.
And translation = lol

HF. Get a clue spawn, rly.
'Team #2 actually took it as far as going into the qualification of TheCGS, but managed to fail against teams at a low level.'
Dignitas won the UK combine
MiBr won the Pan American combine
complexity were the best in the regular season in the North American CGS
All former top 1.6 teams. There are more cases as well, but I want to keep this quite brief.
If you think source is the future, look at the top prize ever handed out in competition and the contrast that to '1.6, you're not even in the same league. Source is so bad it makes the baby jesus cry.
First of all, it's not about bugs or fucking graphics. It's about game play which is 100000000x times better in CS 1.6 instead of CS: Source. As a spectator I enjoy watching 1.6 more than CS:S. That makes it more entertaining, that's why 90% of CS players still keep playing 1.6. Games are not mentioned to be so realistic, but many of the developers are focusing on that and in some cases overmuch of realisticy makes games bad.
I've played CS: Source too few years, been at Source based LAN competitions and faced even Insignia Cadre at LAN match so I know what kind of game it is and most of its details. I also started at Cadred as a news writer, I was building the community for YOU from the very start point together with Sauna, Kim, wAbbit and Aroppuu. After one and half year I got bored, left it and joined in SK Gaming.
"Sponsors wants more demanding games to showcase their products."
Tell me why there is then more affluent tournaments in the 1.6 scene than CS: Source? We don't count CGS on this, just the smaller ones. (Read below)
"CGS have already broken the barrier, taking on the NEW version of Counter-Strike - and they pay a hell of a lot more than other tournaments."
I'm sure CGS could have picked up 1.6 if Valve would haven't forced them to choose CS: Source because of the television rights. That game could be quite dead now if things would have been happened on the contrary. I know CS: Source is young and 1.6 old, but still I don't see a bright future for CS:S. And tell me why Americans are still favoring 1.6 and they even wanted to play at 1.6 tournaments, but CGS declined it? :D They started the CS:S and CGS flow. They only joined CGS because of the big money, and this big money helps CS:S community to survive longer. I respect CGS because of this money. CGS has failed to reach the audience they wanted to. (Where the thanks belong to CS:S.)
"The fact is that many professional 1.6 teams have tried to play Counter-Strike:Source, and have been intimidated by the topteams."
Of course. Your argument is however staggering. The switch from 1.6 to CS:S takes time and some of these 1.6 players does not want to focus CS:S so much anymore as they used in 1.6. That's why some of the top 1.6 teams have failed at CS: Source.
"SpawN shows his lack of intelligence in this interview, and really shows the world why most of us really hates this guy."
Players are allowed to give their own opinions about everything. We all are. So actually you are the only one who is lacking of intelligence. This makes it look like the CS: Source players are the weak people..
"Valve first launched Source and lately long waited ProMod was released."
Valve first launched Counter-Strike 1.6, then CS: Source which unfortunately separated the community and failed to achieve pleasure inside players mind. CS: ProMod was released because the biggest part of 1.6ers were not pleased to original CS: Source. They wanted to unite the communities by taking the best parts from CS:S and 1.6. It was a good idea, but failed.
Now we have a two sides story here.
My respons was just as childish as SpawNs comment, and some of it were supposed to be childish.
"Simple question. Source is bad and 1.6 is good still. This has nothing to do with this question but i just wanna get it of my chest. Most of source players are 1.6 players who dident make it."
You are so right SpawN.
"Simple question. Source is bad and 1.6 is good still. This has nothing to do with this question but i just wanna get it of my chest. Most of source players are 1.6 players who dident make it."
Finally someone had guts to say that.
