The rumours were floating around for some weeks now since it was announced that the SK Warcraft III team will change after winning the WC3L Season 12 Finals and today the first official announcement has to be done. It is a sad day for everyone but we will have to announce the departure of Mykhaylo Novopashyn better known as HoT.

HoT has been a long-time member of SK Gaming and achieved a lot of great results for him and SK Gaming but also for his fans. His contract expires at the end of the year and both, SK Gaming and HoT, were unable to agree on a new contract. Mykhaylo just recently helped his team winning the deciding game at the WC3L Finals and we want to thank him for everything he did at and for SK Gaming being a great guy and still a close friend.

"Hi everyone! Today I leave the team which raised me to the player I am now.
I remember as it was yesterday how I joined to SK. On one very lucky day for me I beat zeus 2-1 in semis of incups and then got the very difficult victory over sweet playing elf : D 3-2 in finals of incup and i guess right after that i placed top8 at wcg in San Francicso.
Only few ppl know but I am in SK thanks to madfrog, he saw some potential in me and asked nuke to invite me. A lot of time passed i was very inconsistent player winning from time to time but anyway I am who I am now.
