well one problem is u cant expect blizzard to sponsor a q4/cs tourney. At the most they could sponsor wc3(which the esl neways have), starcraft(which has very little popularity now in eu) or dota xD (which would never happen).

sk-gaming were first in 5v5 tourney in europe but this season they are failing hard same goes for log they are still high rated atleast higher then sk-gaming but i doubt they will reach rank 1 or 2 to reach event realm

The reason why most people judge wow pvp as a game which requires no skill is because they simply haven't experienced high level pvp. There are alot of bad players in wow due to its casual player profile. The reason why "people get high rankings in few weeks, compared to years in cs" is because wow pvp hasn't been around for long, and there have been very few tournaments. Things needs to be done so wow can be the competative game it really is. The biggest flaw as I see it, is the split community, seperated on different servers, not being able to play against each other.
Tournaments like this one is what wow needs, and it's a huge step in the right direction. What wow doesn't need though, is another failed tournament, which I predict this to be. Invite tournaments like this one is nice in solid communities like cs, where there are alot of top teams. Those 8 invited teams are probably far from the top, they only have famous names. In order to save wow as the e-sport it should be, a proper tournament is needed with the top teams in the world.

Would have been nice to see a "available for all" tournament with more than 2 weeks notice. The motivation went down, for me atleast, when WSVG went away.
#120 They have not been playing 5v5 for a long time. Obviously the rating of the top teams have gone up since then.

#126 That blog is simply wrong, except that the WSVG favored Americans and that GRAMMERPOLICE had a really good team. I actually wrote a long reply to it, but I realized it wasn't necessary. Hopefully there will be chances for other European teams to participate in the future.
