Shortly after one of the best competitive weeks in eSports, with events stretching all over the globe.
From China to United States of America, and back to Europe, one of the most traditionally overlooked events in the calendar has expanded its lineup ten fold.
The Asus Open in its last incarnation featured 'only' a professional Counter Strike 1.6 and Warcraft III tournament. The Asus Autumn 2007 has expanded to feature just about every professional eSports game regardless of genre and looks to be one of the best events of the year. Worthy of mention, is the Russian organizers dedication and loyalty with continued finical support in Quake III.
Counter-Strike 5v5 Masters [16 teams] - $14.000
Counter-Strike 5v5 Open [128 teams] – $6.000
Warcraft III: DOTA 5v5 Open [32 teams] – $6.000
Quake 3 1v1 + 2v2 + 4v4 Open – $8.000
Warcraft III: TFT 1v1 Open [32-64 players] – $2.000
FIFA 2007 1v1 Open [32-64 players] – $2.000
Starcraft: Brood War 1v1 Open [32-64 players] – $2.000
The event is scheduled to take place from 24th to the 25th of November, in Moscow, Russia. Picture hosted courtesy of cyberfight.ru and the original English translation courtesy of eSreality.

I'm looking forward to the Quake 3 tournament, I hope for the sake of future events that some of the best players come out of the woodwork and play.
anyway, it will be a great tournament like every "Asus tournament" :)
they did can name that Pro or Invite instead of Masters ...
Events in Europe, cost less to get to, combined with the fact that Russia is quite a cheap place to stay. This should still attract quite a few teams.
6k for for all other teams...that's just not right..although i think it will be an uplifting tournament :)
go go go!
