ESWC Map Pool Announced
A few days ago the games to feature at the Electronic Sports World Cup were announced and now the map pool has been unveiled as well.

A few days ago the games to feature at the Electronic Sports World Cup were announced and now the map pool has been unveiled as well.
If you missed out on the previous news the games selected were Counter-Strike 1.6 male & female, Warcraft 1on1 and Trackmania Nations with the FPS to be announced at the end of the year.
Here are the map pools:
Counter-Strike 1.6
Map Pool: de_dust2, de_inferno, de_nuke, de_train, de_tuscan
Games settings: max round 15, round time 1 minutes 45, start money 800
Warcraft 3 1on1
Map Pool:Echo Isles, Secret Valley, Terenas Stand, Turtle Rock, Twisted Meadows
TrackMania Nations
Map pool: To be decided by public vote every 2 months
The only "shock" decision is the inclusion of de_tuscan over de_cbble in the Counter-Strike 1.6 tournament. If you would like more details about the map selection process for TMN they are available here.

About time we see some new stuff in CS and I know a lot of players also look forward to some new maps. Of course a lot of people will claim that Germans will have an advantage as they have been playing the map in the ESL Pro Series for some time now.
