Rod "Slasher" Breslau from Gameriot got in touch with a bunch of Quake's world class players at the recent QuakeCon 2007 and has made three video interviews with Tim "DaHanG" Fogarty (Team EG), the Italian star Alessandro "Stermy" Avallone (San Fransisco Optx) and Johan "toxjq" Quick (F-player). All these video interivews include talks about the QuakeCon experience, but also some other things reveal themselves. Take a look below to direct links: > DaHanG video interview > Stermy video interview > Toxjq video interview Some snatches: DaHanG: "I don't think PURRI played any different than how I expected him to, at least. Usually he can just get away with playing aggressive, and trample over people because he's smart with his aggression and has real good aim. He thought he could walk over me in the beggining and he payed for it. I think I played smart and deserved the win instead of him giving it to me." Stermy: "Right now I'm trying to understand if I'll be able to play in other tournaments. Maybe you will see me playing Quake 4 again on some [WSVG] stops, if I'll be able to and have time to practice." Toxjq: "I think Magnus 'fox' Olsson needs to watch more demos of himself playing and try to see why he's losing. It's not always about hitting your rails or hitting your shaft. You have to have some special tricks that only you know. Don't play so defensive, even if its a final. Sometimes you need to take big risks."
