After being ejected into the loser bracket by the number one seed Team HOT, after the winner bracket final. Second seed Team Dignitas, the sole European representative at this years Enemy Territory:Quake Wars tournament managed the impossible, and claimed the QuakeCon title!
Retaining the European stranglehold on team based first person shooters, which stretches back past ET, and all the way back to Return to Castle Wolfenstein. 2002 (First RTCW tourney) was the last time that an American team has managed to lift gold over an European. Docters beat infensus on that occasion, but it remains a feat yet to be emulated. It will remain a dream for another year as Dignitas claimed gold!
