CS Promod Closed Beta
Not much news around the longed-for Counter-Strike: Source Promod has been released for quite a while, though today the Executive Director of Promod made an interesting comment on the coL CGS website.
Tomorrow (Tuesday) Promod will be entering its first closed beta test. His comment:Tomorrow (Tuesday), we will officially be entering our first closed beta test. Yes, this means that the project is quickly nearing its first releasable version. All necessary aspects of Counter-Strike have been completed, and the mod is fully functional. We will be using the closed beta test primarily in order to further tweak and perfect gun behavior (as well as, obviously, to check for general bugs). Expect an official news post on Tuesday.
AlexSK will hopefully get ahold of a copy and bring you some more details as soon as possible!

CSS > D E A D
that's a real great news, and if they realy can mix the 1.6 game play and the CSS graphics, this game will be awesome (and i dont see any reason to keep playin' source for the community).
The most important thing is : What's the CGS position about CSP ? Will they try to make the community happy or will they continue with that css-money-thing ?
ahem.
