Creative In-Game advertising at WoW
The nuisance of the World of Warcraft (WoW) game world, the so called "gold farmers" have found out a new creative way to advertise their services by using a simple age-old client-side memory hack.
This rare & creative ad was done with a gang of level 1 Gnome characters, which rained down from the sky near the bank in Alliance's base, Ironforge, which is typically the most densed area on a simple realm. Obviously the characters died on this long jump, but the gold farmers jumped in a way that made their corpses form a website address of the WoW gold selling company.

Blizzard, the creators of WoW responsed quickly to the action and put teams to clear the messed area. Also this message was given by a Blizzard poster at WoW Forums:
"I ask that any player that witnesses these to report them strait away. If you feel so inclined, you can also post the realm name, and zone here and I can see what can be done about getting them handled that way. Please, once they are reported, leave the bodies alone, and do not linger around, or huddle near the bodies."
